This notice explains how SA Autec Industries (Pty) Ltd (“SA Autec”, “we”, “us”) handles the personal information you provide through this website, in line with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect

The only place this website collects personal information is the quote / contact form. When you complete it, we receive the details you enter — your name, company name, email address, phone number, country, and whatever you choose to write in your enquiry. We do not use tracking cookies and we do not collect any information about you automatically.

Why we collect it

We use these details for one purpose only: to respond to your enquiry and provide you with a quote, by contacting you back by email or phone. We do not use your information for marketing, and we never sell, rent or share it with anyone else for their own purposes.

Your consent

By submitting the form, you consent to us using your details to reply to your enquiry. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us (see below).

Who handles it

Your enquiry is delivered to our inbox through a third-party form service (Web3Forms), which simply forwards your message to us by email. Only SA Autec staff who deal with enquiries and quotes will see it.

How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry only for as long as we need it to respond to you and to handle any quote or project that follows. After that, we delete or archive it.

Your rights

Under POPIA you have the right to ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you;
• correct or update it;
• delete it; or
• stop using it.

To do any of these, email us at admin@autec.co.za. You also have the right to complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za).
