The SA Autec 3 TPH Gold Exploration Unit is a compact, diesel-powered crushing and milling solution developed for gold exploration, bulk sampling and small-scale daily production in remote mining areas.

Powered by a reliable 28 hp air-cooled diesel engine, the unit combines a feed conveyor, jaw crusher, hammer mill and cyclone system into one integrated processing platform. Run-of-mine material is first reduced by the jaw crusher before being transferred to the hammer mill for further size reduction. The milled product is then directed through the cyclone, where interchangeable screens allow the operator to produce different final particle sizes according to the ore characteristics and processing requirements.

Dry Processing with Free-Gold Recovery

One of the unit's key advantages is that the crushing, milling and classification stages operate as a completely dry process. Water is introduced only at the final discharge point, where the classified material exiting the cyclone is deposited onto a gold-catching mat. This allows recoverable free gold to be captured while significantly reducing the unit's water requirements compared with conventional wet-processing systems.

With an average processing capacity of approximately 3 tonnes per hour — depending on the material and selected screen size — the unit provides a practical, self-contained solution for exploration and small-scale production.
